A successful collaborative learning community depends upon the strength of the commitment of all three primary stakeholders in learning at the school: the teachers, the students, and the parents. As a collaborative learning community, the staff is prepared to actively support all of the policies and procedures in the school culture to ensure student success. It is important that students and parents be prepared to make commitments to learning as well.
To ensure future success for students, the school possesses a clear sense of the goals it is trying to accomplish, the characteristics of the school it seeks to become, and the contributions the various stake holders in the school will make, in order to transform ideals into reality.
