Parents/guardians should endeavour to become familiar with the established vision and goals of Archbishop Oscar Romero High School and to monitor and share the success of their children. Parents/guardians should become a part of student success in the following ways:
- Become informed and knowledgeable about the curricular, co-curricular, and student support programs available to students by reviewing their children’s handbook and accessing the Archbishop Oscar Romero High School website.
- Assist their children in setting realistic and informed educational (including post-secondary) and career goals, and encourage involvement in school activities.
- Maintain an open and timely communication with the school.
- Become actively involved in the life of the school.
- Help their children become responsible, self-reliant members of the school community.
- Create a supportive learning environment in their home.
